What are the steps to take when filing a claim?
1. You must note any item(s) that are damaged at the completion of your move on the damage claim form. Any
damage(s) not listed at this time will be considered not valid. Boxes packed by owner will not be covered.
2. Once you have listed item(s) on the damage claim form, then you must complete the Statement of Claim.
3. If you have more than one item, you must complete a Statement of Claim for each item.
4. Upon submission of your completed Statement of Claim, your claim will be investigated.
5. You will receive either a Claim Accepted Statement, a Claim Denied Statement or a Request for More
Information Statement within 30 days of submission of your Statement of Claim.
6. If you receive a Claim Accepted Statement, You will also receive a Release of Liability form. Upon your return
of the Release of Liability form, We will issue your claim check within 15 business days.
**Important - Please do not call Mark's Movers office to discuss a claim as office personnel will have no
knowledge of your claim or how it will be handled. Always use this site as it will put a electronic date stamp
on all correspondence.**
